This project involved the careful demolition of an existing rear extension, removal of the concrete slab and preparation of the site ready for a new extension. Working on behalf of a busy builder, we helped keep the programme moving by taking care of the enabling works while their team concentrated on other projects.
Whether you're removing an old garage before an extension, creating more usable garden space or preparing for redevelopment, we'd be happy to help.

Extension Demolition
Garden Reduction
Concrete Slab Removal

The client was extending their home and the existing rear extension had to be removed before the new build could begin.
The builder managing the project already had a full programme of work and needed a demolition contractor they could rely on to complete the enabling works without slowing the overall project down.
Our role was to carefully demolish the existing extension, remove the concrete slab, reduce the garden levels where required and leave the site ready for the builder to return and continue construction.
Rather than stretching the builder's own workforce, they were able to keep their team focused on the work that generated the most value while we took care of the first stage.
Controlled Demolition
The extension was demolished methodically while protecting the remaining property.
Slab Removal
The existing concrete slab was broken out and removed, preparing the area for the new foundations.
Garden Preparation
Ground levels were reduced where required to suit the next phase of the project.
Builder Ready
The site was handed back clean, organised and ready for the builder to continue immediately.
The extension was removed safely, the slab broken out and the site prepared for the next phase of construction.
Because the enabling works were completed independently, the builder avoided tying up their own workforce and was able to continue managing other live projects while knowing this one was still moving forward.
The client received a site that was ready for the next stage of construction without unnecessary delays between contractors.

Most residential extension demolition projects typically range between £2,500 and £8,000, depending on the size of the structure, access, waste volumes and whether the concrete slab also needs removing. Every project is different, so we provide free written quotations tailored to your property.

Every successful extension starts long before the first brick is laid. Existing structures need removing, concrete slabs broken out and the site prepared properly before the building work can begin.
Whether you're a homeowner planning an extension or a builder looking for reliable support, we'll take care of the demolition and site preparation so the next phase can begin without delay.
