 Yes, where a load-bearing wall or other structural element is being altered. The structural engineer provides the calculations and drawings showing how the building will be supported. We use that information to prepare the quotation and complete the work. 

 Where required, we can introduce you to a structural engineer, subject to their location and availability. Their design and professional fees remain separate from our demolition and installation quotation. 

 Yes. We can install the structural steel specified by the engineer as part of the same programme as the wall removal. The quotation will confirm whether steel supply, installation or both are included. 

 Yes. We regularly complete rear-wall removal and steel installation in preparation for extensions. This normally requires careful temporary support and coordination with the builder, engineer and building control. 

 Yes, subject to the structural engineer’s design and any party-wall or planning requirements. Chimney breast removal may require support to the remaining masonry above and careful consideration of adjoining properties. 

 Our core service is demolition, structural preparation and steel installation. Limited making safe may be included, but plastering, carpentry and decorative finishing are normally completed by the builder unless specifically included in our quotation. 

 Building-control responsibility should be agreed before work starts. We can coordinate access for inspections, but the homeowner or main contractor normally manages the application and approval process unless stated otherwise.
