This residential demolition project in Esher involved carefully removing part of an existing property before a new dwelling could be constructed. The site was cleared, waste removed and handed back ready for the next phase of development.
Every property is different, but the first stage of almost every renovation, extension or redevelopment is the same.

When our client acquired this property in Esher, the existing house no longer met the requirements for the proposed redevelopment.
Rather than renovating the existing structure, the decision was made to carry out a controlled partial demolition before constructing a new dwelling.
As with many redevelopment projects, the demolition wasn't the end goal—it was the first stage in unlocking the site's potential.
Our role was to remove the redundant sections of the building safely, manage all demolition waste and leave the site ready for the builder to continue without delay.
During the works we also discovered areas of historic underpinning that weren't apparent during the initial inspection. By identifying this early and communicating with the client, the project continued safely and the programme remained on track.
