The client’s objective
Prepare the property for its renovation and extension programme by completing the agreed strip-out, excavation and enabling works before the main construction stages began.
The existing site
Internal strip-out, extension excavation, underpinning and site preparation for the conversion of a three-bedroom property into a five-bedroom home.
What mattered on this project
Access to the property and rear working area was limited, requiring controlled sequencing of strip-out materials, excavation, waste movement and site preparation.
Our approach
Internal finishes and relevant non-retained elements were removed to prepare the house for renovation. Rear and side areas were excavated for the planned extensions and reinforced slab foundation, alongside localised underpinning to one corner and opening up part of the catslide roof for a new dormer.

Complete the removal

Clear and hand back
Strip-out materials, excavation and site preparation were sequenced around the limited-access working conditions.
