The client’s objective
Prepare the Victorian terrace for refurbishment by completing a comprehensive internal strip-out before new services and renovation works began.
The existing site
A comprehensive internal strip-out that took a Victorian terraced property back to brick and created a shell ready for new plumbing, electrics and renovation works.
What mattered on this project
The work focused on creating a clear renovation shell throughout the principal work areas while retaining the scope for the following refurbishment stages.
Our approach
Internal finishes and relevant non-retained elements were removed throughout the principal work areas to expose the underlying masonry. Selected masonry and stud walls were opened up as part of creating the revised internal shell.
