The challenge
Removing an Ageing Conservatory Beside an Occupied Home
The existing conservatory was a deteriorating timber structure with extensive glazing, lightweight roof panels and a solid floor slab. It was tightly connected to the rear of the property and positioned beside established paving, fencing, planting and a raised garden wall.
The work required controlled dismantling rather than indiscriminate demolition. Glazing and roof materials needed to be removed safely before the timber frame could be taken down. The concrete floor and underlying build-up then had to be broken out without damaging the adjoining house or surrounding garden. Our demolition services in Reigate are well suited to this type of residential work.
