Some demolition is permitted development; some requires prior approval or full planning permission. The position should be checked for the individual project before the programme is fixed.
Planning permission for demolitionYes, where suitable structural engineer drawings and calculations are available. The contractor carries out the removal, temporary support and steel installation to the engineer's specification. The written scope will state what is included.
